The Story Behind Alaskan Splendor Limousine

We met Crissy and Desmon shortly after arriving in Alaska. One couldn't find nicer people than these two. And what a success story! (That was no fun at all!)

They moved their family north to Alaska in 2000. They purchased a few undeveloped acres on a lake near Wasilla Alaska. They built a small cabin and fixed up an existing one that came with the land.

By most standards today, they roughed it. Their heat was from burning wood. They had no TV and they had an outdoor accessed washer and dryer setup. It worked great, except when the pipes froze. Desmon (a former Marine), needing a way to transport his whole family around (they have four boys), decided to purchase a limousine that he saw for sale on a local lot.

His thinking was this! Of course, that old limousine was big enough for, but he could also, on occassion, take people to the Anchorage Airport. The fees he collected would help him make his car payment.

They've came a long way since then!

Next came a few newer model stretch limousines. Soon a stretch Hummer joined their fleet. Then came higher capacity vehicles such as a 45 passenger bus, a crew van and even an amored ( armored) executive sedan. The Classic Rock Group STYX with Alaskan Splendor Next thing you know, they're meeting celebrities and getting exclusive jobs to take high profile guests around the area.

I have to admit that I was a bit envious when the classic rock band STYX came to town and Desmon was their transporation before and after their Alaskan concert.

I can tell you from first hand knowledge, that Crissy and Desmond work nearly non-stop to provide a superb service. I don't know when they really even have time to sleep!
