Alaska Photography Alyeska

Alyeska Resort Photos

These are Alyeska Resort Photos that I and some close friends have taken.  If you wish to use any of these photos from this Alaska Photography Alyeska page only, I ask that you use the contact form to get easy approval, that you credit www.great-vacation-in-alaska.com and that you provide a link back to this website.

Tram Ride at Alyeska Resort

I took this photo while on the way up!  The Alyeska Resort is the building you see down below.  The ride up takes just a few minutes, but the views and scenary are hard to beat.  Among other things you'll see are small mountain side waterfalls pouring in to several small mid-mountain lakes (not pictured, but I'll try and take a few soon).

Mountain Views in Alaska

It's only 2300 feet at the top, but you really do feel as though you are on top of the world!  This picture is an example of the view that you'll see at the Alyeska Resort in every direction.

Entrance to Alyeska Prince Resort

Here you see the main entrance to Alyeska Prince Resort.  Alyeska mountain looms in the background...you can kind of see it can't you?

Tram at Alyeska Resort

This picture is a little deceptive.  The top of the mountain is further than it appear in this picture.  You can see one of the trams arriving at the top. The windows that you see to either side of the tram dock are to the 4-Star Seven Glaciers Restaurant! The building in the foreground is the extreme upper right corner of the main resort building.

View of Cook Inlet from on top of Alyeska Mountain

From this vantage point the Cook Inlet is very visible.  This waterway is named after the infamous Captain Cook the explorer, who sailed these waters centuries ago!

To use any of these picture from this page only, please use the contact form to get easy approval.  The biggest requirement, and perhaps the only one, is that you must provide a link back to this website.  I would be most appreciative!  Thank you in advance.
