Alaska Video of Various Places in Alaska

Some of the Alaska video on this page is less than steller in the quality department.

Any that is bad quality was taken with my digital camera. I have a digital (DV) video camera but getting the video from those little tapes onto my computer, has been a pain...and is still a technilogical mystery to me.

My goal is to get a digital camera that has an actual hard drive. I'll keep you updated on that.

On the other hand, though, some of the video on this Alaska video page is from Scott of the Alaska Podshow. The video quality of these Alaska Travel Videos is superb. I'll try and learn some tips from Scott...over time!

Enjoy Alaska on Cycling Tour in Alaska

Here is a video taken by a European couple, as they cycled across Alaska last year. It is a really nice video. Among other places, they bike across the Kenai Penninsula and into Whittier Alaska.

It also shows many of the typical thing that you will see in Alaska including lakes, glaciers, bald eagles, moose, mountains and bears!

The music isn't bad either.

Potter Marsh Boardwalk

Located just south of Anchorage. View over 130 species of birds. Some are migrating through and others nest here. Great Anchorage attraction for bird watchers.

Bald Eagle Flying at Potter Marsh

Short video, taken at Potter Marsh, showing a bald eagle flying nearby.

Anchorage's Coastal Trail System

One of the premier Anchorage attractions, shown in this Alaska video, is The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail System.

Anchorage from the Air

This footage was taken by AlaskaStockFootage.com . It start in the downtown Anchorage area and then heads south, down the coastline.

Among other things, you'll see the Anchorage Airport.

The footage has their "watermark" at the top, but it is still great footage. It will give you an idea of just how big the expanse of Anchorage area is.
