Alaskan Grizzly Bear Attack News and HappeningsIt's part of living in Alaska! Black Bear and more often Alaskan Grizzly Bear Attacks happen. They don't happen daily. I'm not trying to scare anybody,but when they happen...they make the news here in Alaska. As these bear attacks and other close calls happen, I will tellabout them here and/or post links to the stories. One thing is for sure. A Grizzly Bear Attack is something that sparks a lot of attention.
Grizzly Bear Kills Moose in DrivewayGVA - Homer, Alaska May 8th 2007 - This video was shot overthe weekend and is gaining quick popularity on YouTube. Below is the video of the Alaskan Grizzly Bear claiming his kill...an adult moose. This happens regularly in the wild, but the unique thing here is that it happened in the driveway of a couple living in Homer Alaska. Homer is about 5 hours south of Anchorage Alaska. Warning: This video is somewhat graphic How would it be to wake up to this, just outside your home?
