Alyeska and the little town of Girdwood Alaska are amazing. Worth a visit, even if you are not staying there. From sightseeing, to hiking, to skiing, there is plenty to do.

My family loved riding the tram to the top of the mountain.

All the rest of the hotels, that you mention above, are great hotels as well. Certainly amongst the most respected hotels in Anchorage.
